Well done to our Minor Cup team's fantastic win over Carrickmines yesterday. Mari Frisby strode out first with Orla on the bag and had a very convincing win 3/1. Next was Elaine Desmond with Carolyn, who unfortunately met a formidable opponent. Irene Campbell's turn with Matilda (Matt) on bag also came up against another very tenacious opponent. Then came Ciara McCarthy with Mieke, who lead from the start and won on the 17th. Lastly, our rookie, Louise Martin and Grainne. What a player! - behind all the way until winning 3 holes in a row. 1 up going up 18th and lost that. Off she went up the 19th head up and shoulders back........ Carrickmines never had a chance.
