The Killiney Ladies went into the second leg of the Bloom Cup on Monday afternoon with 1 win from Friday v Carrickmines 2 wins.
First up were Tina and Mari who played great golf and brought the match all the way to the 18th hole where they were narrowly beaten. Next up were Clodagh and Elaine who turned their match around from 3 down to win on the 17th!!!
Things were getting very exciting, as our last pairing Irene and Caroline kept a narow lead and won on the 17! As both Killiney and Carrickmines had won three matches each Irene and Caroline as the last match standing had to go down the 19th .......... unfortunately for the Killiney Ladies it was not to be. Carrickmines go through.
Huge congratulations to our Killiney Ladies on a very hard fought battle and to the supporters who came to watch the marathon!!
