Sadly our junior Foursomes ladies were narrowly beaten by a tough Rathfarnham team in Bray Golf Club. Our ladies played some fabulous golf and each match was tightly fought. With one match apiece, the last pairing of Cathryn Towlson and Darina Heavey were beaten on the 17th when their opponents slotted in a 45 foot putt for par!
Hard luck to a fantastic team and wonderful panel who showed great commitment and camaraderie ! Thank you to Leo for his great lessons along the way and to all our supporters, particularly our Lady Captain Aisling, who was there until the bitter end! Special thanks to a very able assistant Emer, for all her words of wisdom and advice! Maybe next year .....?
