Windy and with an occasional threatening sky, 37 golfers competed in this Tuesday's Invitation, including 7 guests (Carrickmines, Castle, Powerscourt, Greystones, Aloha,...). The rain held off until about 4:30, when it started to drizzle, but was clearly going to get worse, so a few declined the extra holes and headed for the bar. As usual, the forecast was worse than the actual weather, and most of us got home fairly dry.
There was a great buzz in the bar afterwards, and likewise in the Dining Room for the prize presentations.
The last Super Tuesday of 2017 is in 2 weeks, and with the previous one oversubscribed, make sure you enter early.
