On a glorious July day with temperatures in the high 20's C, KGC had the honour of hosting the Visiting Captains to our well prepared and challenging course. The guests and members assembled pre golf on the veranda and enjoyed a delicious light lunch and refreshments. The team’s pairings were introduced, announced and briefed on the competition format by Captain Tina. In incredible sunshine ten teams did battle and everyone was grateful for the half time ice cream refreshments.
Après golf started with a cooling drink on the veranda before everyone retired to the dining room for a suburb meal accompanied by a selection of fine wines from the Captains' Choice 2025.
Captains Tina and Brendan were both honoured and thrilled to welcome our guests and fellow members to this wonderful celebration of friendship with our neighbouring golf clubs. The entire team at KGC should be immensely proud of the wonderful organisation and detailed preparation that went into making the day such a success. Captain Tina and Brendan are incredibly grateful and proud of all their efforts.
