Congratulations to our Irish Mixed Foursomes Team on their exciting win over Milltown Golf Club yesterday which was played in sunny but challenging blustery conditions.
Both Teams played golf to a very high standard with nothing between the parings in the early stages. However, all home Killiney pairings came through with flying colours demonstrating excellent short game and putting skills to overpower their opposition to win all three home matches. Our Killiney pairings at Milltown Golf Club also produced an excellent performance taking both their matches all the way to the 17th and 18 holes.
Killiney Golf Club came out on top with a superb and a well-earned victory of 3½ to 1½.
Thanks for all the support from members on the day it’s really appreciated and it does make a difference. Thanks also to our President, Captains and Vice Captains for joining us.
Finally thanks to the Ladies playing in their Sunday singles competition who stood aside to let the match play through.
