Dear Members,

You will be aware by now that both the Government and the Golfing Unions plans to move to phase 4 have been postponed until 10th August.

The success of the last three weeks has been with the positive support of our members in respecting the protocols, and for the unstinting work of your staff to facilitate Golf and Dining during this time.

The Government will, on Monday, publish guidelines on countries that members can travel to without the need to quarantine on their return. In the meantime, the current protocol of self-isolating for 14 days following your return remains in place.

In line with Government recommendations to the retail sector, the club have taken the decision that bar and serving staff will wear facemasks for our members protection. We would ask members to be mindful of not mixing between tables in the dining room as this can prove counterproductive to our efforts to keep our members safe.

We have introduced new plastic sandbags at the first tee. Simply take one when starting your round and bin the bag when you return home.

We would also like to remind members that it is Mandatory to check-in at the Proshop before your round of golf and to sign in any guests you have. Equally, use of the Practice ground is by reservation only with the Proshop. Members of the same household can use the practice facility simultaneously subject to booking and availability.

Our snack food catering is proving popular, but we have found that only 35% of members are pre-booking. This is proving challenging in the scheduling of staff and food management. We would like to encourage you to pre book the dining room (at least 24 hours in advance) by calling the bar on 2851983 ext. 1

Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
