If you are participating in the May Fun Quiz, you'll need to locate the Photo Archive and use the search tool. Here's how to locate the Photo Archive and use Search.

On the drop down menu, select Photo Archive. (Do not select The History Books. The search tool will not work on The History Books.) |

The Archive will pop up. If you scroll down you'll see folders for each year, going back to 1903. Look on it as a filing cabinet, with each drawer marked with a year, 2010, 2009, 2008 and so on. In each drawer there are folders for specific events. There are two small icons at the top right hand side of the screen. Icon (1) will give you information on how to use Search. Icon (2) is a "magnifying glass". This will open the Search Box. Type what you're looking for into the search box and press return. So suppose you wanted to see who Alistair Smith is, your would type "alistair and smith". No need to use capitals and you must separate each work with the word and. |
