Dear Members,
In response to some queries from members in relation to The Club’s policy on the Coronovirus we would encourage you all to visit the HSE Coronavirus Webpage for full information and regular updates.
The Council is following the HSE guidelines to ensure that members feel safe when visiting the course and the clubhouse. For the moment it is business as usual with no plans to limit or cancel any competitions or functions planned over the coming weeks.
The HSE website has listed the latest “affected areas” and advised that anyone who has travelled from these locations in the last fourteen days can ‘carry on with their usual daily routine’ as long as they are not displaying symptoms of the virus. People are advised by the HSE to self-quarantine if they are feeling unwell having returned from an affected area.
The situation with the Virus is evolving on a daily basis and we will continue to monitor the Department of Health’s updates. Should a change of policy be required in relation to events or access to the Club, we will of course be in touch with you all.
