Dear Members,

Following this afternoon’s announcement by the Irish Government in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, the GUI and ILGU have issued a joint statement and recommend that all golf clubs, practice facilities and courses should close.  We have therefore decided that Killiney Golf Club and all its facilities to include the golf course, the putting green and practice ground will close with immediate effect until April 19th 2020.

It is our shared responsibility to prioritise the health of our local communities by working together to follow the respective Government guidelines. In doing so, this will ensure that we get the opportunity to play the game that we all love as soon as it is safe to do so.

Our Course Superintendent Michael Browne and all the greenkeeping staff will continue to maintain the course in our absence whilst observing the Government guidelines on physical (social) distancing.

In the meantime we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed of any new developments in relation to re-opening the course.

Keep well and keep safe and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
