Dear Members,
The AGM will go ahead as planned tomorrow evening but it is Council’s intention to withdraw the motions that relate to the proposed new Rules. As a result of feedback received from members in recent days, Council have decided that it is more appropriate to have a face to face rather than a Zoom meeting to discuss any items in relation to the proposed Rules Revision. We do have to conduct an AGM within the first four months of the year which is why the meeting will still go ahead, but only to conduct the minimum business required which is as follows;
- To approve the 2020 AGM minutes
- To adopt the annual report and statement of accounts
- To affirm the Captains for 2021
- To elect the Honorary Officers and Honorary President
- To elect the auditors
- To confirm the annual subscription
- Any other business
