Huge congratulations to our very own Leona Maguire & Team Europe on winning the 17th Edition of the Solheim Cup. Leona a wild card pick playing in her first Solheim Cup, was the star of the tournament and she won four-and-a-half points from five matches – a record for a rookie on either side.
Captains Prize Winners 2021
Congratulations to Richard Bolton who won the Captain's Prize 2021 and Roisin McCarron who won the Lady Captain's Prize 2021.

Pilot Timesheet Survey
As you are aware we have been trialing a new timesheet format this summer. To our golfing adult members, If not already done so, we would now like to get some feedback on how you, the golfing member, feels the pilot is operating. Please CLICK HERE for more information and to complete the survey.
Photography for Website
The Web Committee has been looking at ways to improve the website and to upskill members to maintain the site. As you are aware, in terms of photography, Peter Bennett has very generously created an amazing resource over many years by taking photographs, publishing them and where possible, naming and captioning them.
We are now working with a new team to implement this work. Please email Mags at office if you:
1. Take photographs at a club event and would like them put up on the website. Mags will co-ordinate with the web team to have them published;
2. Have an eye for photography and are willing to go on a panel to join the existing members who take photographs at club events, so that we can make sure all relevant events are recorded. We have a club camera that you can be shown how to use or you can use your own camera if you prefer;
3. Can name the people on any of our albums who are not currently identified and/or are willing to spend 30 minutes to an hour or so from time-to-time to help identify those in the images.
When restrictions allow, we would like to run a training event in the Clubhouse on website editing/maintenance and to introduce, in person, the people who will support members on this going forward. We will notify website editors and administrators about this event in due course.
Finally, sincere thanks to Peter Bennett for all the great work he has delivered and we welcome the fact that he has very kindly agreed to act as a Mentor in this context going forward.

Thursday Snooker Club
And last but not least - Our very excited Snooker Co-ordinator, Gordon Horsfield, is delighted to announce that the Thursday Snooker Club will be back up and running from Thursday 23rd September. Please note that all participants must be fully vaccinated. The long wait is nearly over!
