Placing on Fairways
With effect from Thursday 4th November, Placing on the Fairways is being introduced.   A ball landing on the fairway may be lifted, cleaned and placed within 6 inches, but no nearer to the hole.  Golfers should ensure that they mark the ball position before lifting it.  In the Rough the ball must be played as it lies. 

Divot Repairs
As the ground is now considerably softer, golfers are taking more and larger divots when playing golf shots and causing greater damage to the course.  Accordingly golfers must be even more diligent in taking a divot bag and repairing any divots encountered on the course.
