KILLINEY GOLF CLUB

As the light begins to fade in the afternoons there will be less availability on the timesheet in the last session. In an effort to maintain the same number of 18 hole spaces as last year and still accommodate some 9 hole players the committee are looking to trial slightly different formats than 2017 over the next couple of weeks. On the 15th of September we will move to 12 *4balls at 10 minute intervals instead of 16 *3 balls at 7 minute intervals . Although the playing numbers will be maintained the number of lines will be reduced from 16 to 12 which we believe will also relieve some of the congestion experienced on a couple of days this summer on the back 9.

On Saturday the 29th September there will still be three sessions but the ladies will move from the first two lines enabling the 18 hole men to start earlier for which we thank them.

We would ask all members in all three sessions to please ensure you are ready to start at your designated time and maintain your place on the course. As these are trial formats we would ask for your patience cooperation and understanding as we endeavour to find the most efficient and enjoyable format for all for our Saturday golf.
