We are delighted that the Killiney Mixed Invitation Matchplay Competition sponsored by Sherry FitzGerald is in full swing and being enjoyed by all involved. Gentlemen, wishing you all the best of success in my Captain's Day Qualifying round which takes place this week.
Round one is Thursday 24th August & Saturday 26th August.
Round two is Sunday 27th August.
The Draw for the Captain's Prize takes place on Sunday 27th at 6:30pm in the Clubhouse.
The Captain's Prize itself takes place on Saturday 2nd September.  The Prize-Giving Dinner that evening is now full. There is a waiting list in operation.
The Captain's Plate for those not playing in the Captains Prize takes place on Friday 1st September between 3pm and 5pm. The timesheet opens on 6:30pm this Sunday.  All men not playing in the Captain's Prize are eligible to enter the Captain's Plate. There is no entry fee for this competition and the prize is presented at the Captain's dinner. 
Also, to remind you that all the internal club match rounds must be played by the date specified for each round. Already some of you have missed this date and those of you who have missed the date should be aware that if the delay causes issues with the next round, the committee will have the right to determine the winner of that round.
As you already know all the Finals without exception will be played on Club Finals Day, Sunday 1st October.

Boyne Trophy Final
We wish our Ladies all the very best of luck next Monday 28th August at 11am in Edenderry Golf Club, playing against Rathdowney in the Boyne Trophy Final.  Fingers Crossed they can bring the silverware home!
