President Gordon Horsfield's Prize to the Men & Ladies
We are delighted to announce our first major of the year, The President’s Prize. The 18 hole competition will take place on Thursday 5th alternatively Saturday 7th May. Booking will open for members on Tuesday 26th alternatively Thursday 28th April @ 8.00pm.
The 9 hole competition will be on Friday 6th May and booking for this opens today, Wednesday 27th April @ 8.00pm.
On this occasion you have to select either the 18 hole or the 9 hole competition; you may not play in both.
The 9 hole competition on Sunday 8th May will be a sweep.
We did manage to run a joint President’s Prize in 2021 but due to Covid were unable to host a Dinner and Prize Giving; this year we hope to go a step further.
Dinner and Prize Giving will take place on Saturday 7th May (Members Only) and a Table Plan for this event is available in the Main Reception Hall. Please add your name to a table or enter under the waiting list. You can also view the fantastic prizes to be won in the Display Cabinet in the Bar. We wish you all the best of luck with your golf and look forward to welcoming you to Dinner and Prize Giving in support of President Gordon on the Saturday night.

New Telephone System
You may have noticed that we now are operating from a new telephone system. There is no major change to our members except to note that the Proshop is now contactable via our main telephone landline 01 2851983 Extn 1. The Mobile number that was in operation for the Proshop is now disconnected, please use the main landline number only. Extension lines are now as as follows:
Extn 1 = Pro Shop
Extn 2 = Course Conditions
Extn 3 = Bar
Extn 4 = Kitchen
Extn 5 = Office
Extn 6 = Accounts
Food & Beverage Levy
A reminder that any monies from your 2021 Food & Beverage levy (Bar Purse) will be forfeited on 30th April (normally this process takes place on 31st December but extended by 4 months due to Covid-19 restrictions). Please note that any top-ups added in 2021 will not be affected.
Men's Prize-Giving
The next Men’s prize-giving ceremony is on Saturday May 7th at 5.30pm in the Clubhouse Bar. All Welcome!
Gentlemen please note: The Men's Super Tuesday Calendar 2022 has been updated. There has been a date swap of sponsors. Phonovation will now sponsor Tuesday 21st June and Marketing Network will now sponsor Tuesday 26th July.

Springsomes Qualifier
Well done to all who participated in the Springsomes Qualifying events over the weekend, and Congratulations to the leading Qualifiers Vonnie Airey and Dermot McCarthy with a great score of 33 points.
The draw is now available on the Clubnet App. Go to Members, Club Matchplay, Springsomes Draw.
Alternatively on the website, go to Master Scoreboard, scroll down to Knock Out Draws, and select Springsomes.
First round matches must be completed by June 26th.
Straight Foursomes Matchplay played off the Blues and Red Tees. The match is played off half the combined Course Handicaps of the pairs, rounded up if necessary, and the full difference between the pairs.
