It's been a long haul but I'm very pleased to tell you that our new General Manager, Mark Carwood, has taken up his office as of Monday last.
Mark is a great guy and I really look forward to working with him.
He's a member of Greystones and he has come to us from his previous Manager position in Delgany. He has played on the Leinster youths team with Leo Hynes and Keith Bardon back in the day and he's friendly with other Killiney members.
He's anxious to meet all of our members so I hope you'll say hello when you see him and help make him welcome to Killiney.
I know you'll join me in wishing Mark all the best and giving him a big welcome to our club.
I'd like also to pay tribute in particular to our staff who have kept the club going without a manager for much longer than we had expected. My gratitude too to our members of the Council and the various committees for their efforts during this time also.
Thankfully, this time has now passed and we all look forward to the impact which I know Mark will make on the many activities of our club.

Results of the Polls at the recent Special General Meeting
1. That in relation to the current Constitution of the club, all references to the words "Secretary-Manager" be replaced by the words "General Manager".
Result: Passed by acclaim.
2. That the Annual Subscription for the year commencing 1st January 2023 be increased by €100 to €1,580 and pro rata for other memberships in accordance with Rule 12.
Result: Passed by a substantial majority.
3. That the Council may make arrangements which ensure that, from 1st January 2023, on Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Mens' and Ladies' competitions will run in parallel and that all competition-eligible members will have the same access to the timesheet on those days and be permitted to book a time on any line, regardless of gender.

Any balance of your original Social Levy amount remaining as of December 31st will be forfeited. Monies on your competitions purse and any monies topped up by you are carried over.

Smartcard Reminder: Please keep an eye on your smartcard purse balances and ensure they are topped up in advance of using your smartcard in the Bar and Pro-shop - Thank You.
Care & Maintenance Reminder:
Please repair all plug marks, divots, rake the bunkers properly (even if they are of not your own making), carry a sandbag and please keep up with the group in front – it's your golf course!
