Dear {{firstname}},

My dear friends, fellow members of Killiney Golf Club, welcome back to playing and enjoying golf.  The course is in peak condition due to the excellent work done by Michael Browne and staff.

For me, there are two special days in the Calendar - President’s Prize to the Ladies and to the Men.  This year, Ladies and Men have a choice as to whether to play their 18 holes on Thursday 10th June or Saturday 12th June.  If some Ladies and men wish to play 9 holes, tee times are available on either Friday or Sunday.  I wish you good luck, so enjoy and have fun.

Our Captains, Diane and Brendan, together with their Committees, have arranged time sheets to allow plenty of golf for us all. The draws have been made for our own Trophies.  Inter Club matches are starting shortly.  We do not have permission to attend the matches so instead wish good luck to our players.

I am looking forward to dining in our newly refurbished Clubhouse once we are permitted to do so.  For now, as more of us have been vaccinated, it is enough for me to meet, greet and play golf.  A lesson with Leo or Sergio is a good thought too!

My thanks to Jim Mountjoy and the Council for their work in the safe running of the Club.   Also to our tireless Secretary, Niall, aided by Mags who make sure everything is in order.

Keep smiling, keep going and Good luck.

Valerie Hand
Hon. President
