Killiney Mixed Invitation Week

It's all go this week with the the Killiney Mixed Invitation Week in full swing.  Wishing all our Teams the very best of luck.  It would be great to see another Killiney Team in The Final again this year.  There was a great buzz on Sunday for the opening day - Click Here to view the photographs. 
Please come up and support your Club's Teams over the next few days, there is a great atmosphere on the Veranda and in the Bar and Snack Catering is available.  The Semi-Final is on tomorrow (Thursday 19th) from 4pm and The Final starts on Friday (20th) at 3pm followed by the 9 Hole Plate @ 3.10pm.  Keep an eye on the homepage of the website to see each days results and the following days draw.  Tables available for the Prize-Giving Dinner on Friday (20th May) at 7.30pm - Call Mags in the office to Book.

Locker Renovations
Works are commencing on the new Ladies and Gents Shower and Changing rooms week commencing Monday 23rd May.  The works are due to take approximately 8 weeks and during that time both set of Shower and Changing rooms will be closed.
Bathroom facilities, for the duration of the refurbishment works, will be available at the back of the club house adjacent to the Dining Room.  The Terminals for signing in and returning your scores will be relocated to the Spike Bar.
In preparation for the works, we need to remove all items from the Locker rooms by Sunday 22nd May. If you have stored any items in the locker rooms, could you please remove them before this date.
A short video presentation describing the project will follow under separate correspondence.

Huge Congratulations to our wonderful Gardening Committee, headed up by Charlie Barry, on their creation of "Our Elephant" (taken from our club crest).  The First Tee Box Area looks fantastic!
VOLUNTEERS ALWAYS NEEDED (especially some more men!) to help maintain what has already been planted and for future planting, so please offer your services if you can get involved and give over some time to your Club.  Contact Mags in the Office who will put you in touch with the Committee.

Reminder: Care & Maintenance
Please repair all plug marks, divots, rake the bunkers properly (even if they are of not your own making), carry a sandbag and please keep up with the group in front – it's your golf course!
