In response to enquiries to the Club please find below answers to commonly asked questions.
Do I require an EU Vaccination certificate to dine indoors?
Members & guests (over 18) are required to show proof of immunity. This will be scanned for verification purposes. A register of members who have presented this proof will be maintained in the bar. Guests are required to show proof of identity.
Face coverings must be worn by members and guests at all times other than when seated at their table.
What is the Dress Code for indoor dining?
The dress code for indoor dining is relaxed to allow for those to attend in their golf attire. However, you will be required to change out of your golf shoes.
How many people can we have at a table?
A maximum of 6 persons aged 13 or over are permitted at a table. This limit of 6 does not include accompanying children aged 12 or younger.
Do I need a reservation to dine indoors?
Pre-Bookings will be required for Tuesday/Wednesday fourballs and Sunday lunch by contacting the bar. In all other incidents a record of those seated indoors will be maintained by the bar staff.
Can I attend the golf club if I am a Close contact of a Confirmed case of Covid 19?
If you are a close contact you must follow the advice of the HSE contact tracing team when they phone you as advice can be case dependant.
In general however, the advice for close contacts is as follows:
If you are a close contact and you have received a COVID-19 vaccine you do not need to restrict your movements or be tested for COVID-19 if it is more than:
7 days after your 2nd Pfizer-BioNTech dose
14 days after your 2nd Moderna dose
14 days after the Janssen vaccine
15 days after your 2nd AstraZeneca dose.
Do I require an EU Vaccination certificate to dine outdoors?
No. Outdoor dining does not require an EU Vaccination Certificate.
Can I bring a guest to dine outdoors?
Yes.
Can we use the showers/Changing rooms?
No. Guidelines from Golf Ireland recommend that changing rooms remain closed.
Can I bring a guest to play golf?
Yes. You can book a guest by calling the Proshop on 089/4977947. You must provide the name(s) of the guest(s) to the Proshop. Bookings can be made 7 days in advance. Please note that you cannot book a guest using BRS.
Other News
BROWNMAN CHARITY DAY
There are a few lines free in both the morning and afternoon session of this Sundays Brownman Charity day available through BRS. Lines are 200 in the morning and 300 in the afternoon. In addition dinner will be available on Sunday evening and a dinner booking sheet is available by visiting the clubhouse or calling the bar.
CUBS-REGISTRATION OF INTEREST
We are taking expressions of interest from current full members to register their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with the club before they can apply to be members at 11 years;
Cubs must strictly be direct children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of current playing members (e.g. no nieces or nephews qualify);
All interested children must register their Name, Address, contact email, DOB and the name of the Killiney Member they are directly related to secretary@killineygolfclub.ie;
There will be no charge for this registration, Please register by the 7th August.
SNACK CATERING MENU
Dining indoors is now open and we welcome you all to enjoy a meal after your round or even if your not playing. Guests are welcome to Dine. Please ensure that each member or guest presents proof of vaccination if you wish to dine indoors.
